Rangers have announced the list of players who will be leaving the club on a free transfer this summer.
Michael Beale’s team are in need of a rebuild this season after finishing the Scottish Premiership eight points adrift of champions Celtic.
Among the players to be released include some big names at Ibrox. Alfredo Morelos is a fan favourite at the club with the Colombian scoring 125 goals in his time in Scotland but after a downturn in form and fitness is one of the players to be let go.
Another popular figure is Allan McGregor who will also be leaving the club after having played over 500 games. The 41-year-old does have a Rangers testimonial game on the horizon when Newcastle United visit on the 18th of July.
Ryan Kent, who has recently been linked with a move to Sheffield United, is also among the released alongside Scott Arfield and Filip Helander.
The Gers have two remaining games this season with a final home game against Hearts on Wednesday evening – which will serve as a farewell to the fans for the released players – and then away to St. Mirren on Monday.
#RangersFC can today announce Scott Arfield, Filip Helander, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor and Alfredo Morelos will leave the club upon the expiry of their contracts this summer.
