On Sunday afternoon, Everton clinched Premier League survival on the final day of the 2022/23 season with a 1-0 win at home to AFC Bournemouth enough to hold off 2015/16 winners Leicester City in the bottom three and the relegation places.
Everton are now on the second longest run of successive seasons being in the English top-flight with The Toffees having been a part of furniture since 1952. Next year will be their 73rd consecutive year and the 121 seasons of top-flight that they will have played after next season is the English football record.
