The 2022/23 FA Cup final is one of the most eagerly anticipated FA Cup finals in recent memory as Manchester City take on Manchester United: the first ever Manchester derby cup final.

Pep Guardiola is seeking to earn a second career treble, after achieving the feat with Barcelona in 2009. Only one English club has ever won the treble of the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League with that one club being, indeed, Manchester United. 

For United, it is not just an opportunity to prevent their city rivals joining them on their perch as treble winners but it is also a chance to win their own domestic double, having already won the EFL Cup in late-February; signalling an impressive start to Erik ten Hag’s reign at Old Trafford.
