Tottenham Hotspur are interested in bringing in England defender Harry Maguire according to reports.
The Telegraph’s Matt Law has said that the North London club are keen on the Manchester United player to reinforce their defence for next season.
Manchester United are understood to be open to letting the club captain leave this summer with Maguire behind the pecking order of Raphaël Varane, Lisandro Martínez, and Victor Lindelöf this season.
Law also speculated that the news could help persuade Maguire’s England teammate Harry Kane to stay on at the club. Kane has been linked with numerous clubs, including United, in recent weeks but may stay should Spurs sign a player he has personally recommended to them in the past.
With new manager Ange Postecoglou officially confirmed as the new Tottenham manager earlier today a clear-out and rebuild is expected at the club.
