Birmingham City have been crowned League One champions and smashed the Football League record for the most points in a season after cruising to a 2-0 win away at Blackpool.
Ethan Laird got things going with the opener in the 39th minute at Bloomfield Road, and then Alfie May made it two early in the second half - that’s his 16th League One goal this season.
The win takes the Blues up to a whopping 108 points, beating Reading’s Championship record of 106 from the 2005–06 season - and they’ve still got one game left!
They’d already overtaken Wolves’ third-tier record of 103 points last weekend, and now they’ve matched Doncaster Rovers’ old record of 33 league wins in a season, set way back in 1946/47.
With one game to go - away at already-relegated Cambridge United on Saturday - Chris Davies' side have the chance to hit 111 points and grab yet another record.

With this latest win, Birmingham have now opened up a massive 19-point gap over second-placed Wrexham and it matches the biggest title-winning margin in English football since the three-points-for-a-win system was brought in back in 1981.
The only other side to match that was Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in the 2017/18 Premier League season, when they finished 19 points ahead of Manchester United and racked up an unprecedented 100 points.
