Bournemouth held to goalless draw against 10-man Palace

Bournemouth were held to a goalless draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, despite playing the entire second half with an extra man.

The first half was a scrappy affair, with the biggest moment coming in stoppage time when Palace's Chris Richards was sent off for a second yellow card after pulling back Justin Kluivert, leaving his team a man down for the rest of the game.

In the second half, the Cherries had more of the ball, but aside from a soft header from Evanilson off an Adam Smith cross, they struggled to break down Palace's solid defence.

The result leaves Bournemouth in eighth place with 49 points, their highest-ever tally in the Premier League, with five matches still remaining. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, sit in 12th with 44 points from 33 games.
