Manchester City have confirmed that Ederson will miss Sunday’s final Premier League game and the FA Cup final.

The Brazilian goalkeeper suffered a facial injury during Tuesday's victory against Tottenham, which has brought the club close to securing an unprecedented fourth consecutive title.

Scans revealed that Ederson has a small fracture in his right eye socket following a collision with Cristian Romero.

Despite initially attempting to continue after receiving extensive treatment, Ederson was substituted by Pep Guardiola a few minutes later.

Stefan Ortega, who made crucial saves after replacing Ederson against Spurs, is expected to play in the remaining two games.

City will face West Ham at home on Sunday, needing a win to secure a record fourth straight top-flight title, before taking on Manchester United on May 25 at Wembley in the FA Cup final.

As a football fan, I am devastated to hear that Ederson will miss the last two games of the season due to a facial injury. He has been instrumental in Manchester City's success and his presence will surely be missed. However, I have full confidence in Stefan Ortega stepping up and helping the team secure the title. Best of luck to City in the final two games!
