Arsenal will face Rosenborg on Saturday after cruising past Rangers at Meadow Hall with Caitlin Foord scoring four of the Gunners' six goals.
Arsenal fans were able to see new signing Mariona Caldentey make her debut as the former Barcelona player eased into her new side.
Caldentey was influential from the very start and set up the first goal as Arsenal dominated possession. The Spaniard's cross from the left found Foord at the far post to head in her first goal of the night.
Rangers were always expected to struggle in this one and did well to keep the score down to just one at the break.
The floodgates eventually opened in the second period though. Foord got her second of the game in the 59th minute when she latched on to the end of Kim Little's through ball.
Just seconds later, it was 3-0. This time Alessia Russo picked up the ball on the edge of the area and fired with sufficient power that goalkeeper Victoria Esson wasn't able to stop it.
Foord volleyed home to complete her hat-trick in the 69th minute after doing well to follow the flight of Katie McCabe's ball.
McCabe was involved in the fifth as well when she went down under a tackle as Rangers failed to deal with a corner. Kim Little rifled the resulting penalty into the roof of the net.
The sixth goal, and Foord's fourth, came in the 90th minute. Again, the Glasgow side didn't clear the lines with substitute Rosa Kafaji almost making an impact on her debut. Esson was able to get in the way of Kafaji's shot though but Foord was on hand to finish the rout.
Jonas Eidevall's side will now face Rosenborg on Saturday after the Norwegian side defeated Atlético de Madrid on penalties.
