Manchester United have reportedly 'held talks' with representatives of both Thomas Frank and Mauricio Pochettino according to reports.

Erik ten Hag led Manchester United to FA Cup glory at Wembley on Saturday with Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo both scoring in a 2-1 win over local rivals Manchester City.

Yet despite winning his second trophy in as many seasons, United's poor league form means that his future is still in doubt with INEOS yet to make a decision on whether the Dutchman will stay or go.

The club has apparently held talks with representatives of Brentford manager Thomas Frank and former Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino in case they decide to dispense with Ten Hag according to James Ducker of The Telegraph.

United had previously been linked with an approach for former coach Kieran McKenna who recently helped Ipswich Town return to the Premier League.

As a football fan, I'm torn on this news. On one hand, Ten Hag has proven himself by leading us to two trophies. But on the other hand, our league form has been lacking and it might be time for a change. I'm intrigued by the potential of both Frank and Pochettino, but I hope the club makes the right decision and doesn't rush into anything.

As a football fan, I'm feeling frustrated and disappointed with Manchester United's recent form and lack of consistency. The talks with Thomas Frank and Mauricio Pochettino only add to this feeling of disillusionment. Despite the FA Cup win, the uncertainty surrounding Erik ten Hag's future is unsettling. I hope the club can make a decision soon and bring in the right manager to lead us back to success.
