Napoli have confirmed the arrival of Billy Gilmour from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Italian side will pay an initial £12 million, with an additional £4 million in potential add-ons, and the Seagulls will retain a percentage of any future sale.
Gilmour has agreed to a five-year contract that will keep him at the Italian club until 2029.
The 23-year-old leaves Brighton after two years, opting to join Napoli, who earlier this week also signed Romelu Lukaku and Gilmour’s Scotland teammate Scott McTominay from Chelsea and Manchester United, respectively.
We can confirm midfielder Billy Gilmour has completed a permanent move to Napoli, for undisclosed terms. 🤝 Thanks for the memories, Billy! 💙🤍
