Sheffield Wednesday jumped up to the top of the Championship table after an impressive 4-0 win over Plymouth Argyle.
The Owls were always the better of the two sides at Hillsborough and took a deserved lead in the 35th minute. Jamal Lowe was free in the box to finish Svante Ingelsson's low cross after Barry Bannan's pass.
That lead was doubled early in the second period after Argyle defender Brendan Galloway was unlucky to see the ball bounce off his head and past Conor Hazard.
Plymouth's performance was perhaps typified by the fact that some of their players had their own names misspelt on the back.
Josh Windass made it 3-0 in the 82nd minute when he fired in from Anthony Musaba's cutback.
Wednesday added extra gloss to the scoreline late into stoppage time when substitute Michael Smith managed to finish off a cross from the left at the second time of asking.
That four-goal margin means Wednesday are top of the Championship before Luton Town and Burnley face off tomorrow night. That of course, means that Plymouth are rock bottom after one game played.
