Millwall and Swansea City clash this Saturday at the The New Den on Match Day 45 of the EFL Championship.
Millwall currently have 63 points and lie in 8th position. In their last match, Alex Neil's team prevailed 3-1 against Norwich City (EFL Championship 2024/2025).
Swansea City have picked up 60 points and currently lie in 11th position. In their last game, Alan Sheehan's team won 1-2 against QPR (EFL Championship 2024/2025).
The last meeting between the two teams ended with Millwall winning 1-0.

Omer Ronayne (That Millwall Podcast): It’s do-or-die time now. The table’s tight, the maths are simple — we have to win. Luckily, we’re back at The Den, and it’s a sell-out. The place should be rocking.
Swansea are flying — five wins on the spin, and playing with a freedom that only a team with nothing to lose can find. They're scoring goals, they're moving the ball well, and they’ll fancy turning us over if we’re not at it. But this is different. This is The Den, with a season on the line.
Last time out, we showed real character to grind out a win, and Ivanovic — once again — was the man. He’s been brilliant at home lately, and after bagging a brace last game, you wouldn’t bet against him being the difference again tomorrow.
It’ll be a scrap, it’ll be nervy, and Swansea will cause problems — but with a packed Den behind us, I’m backing us to edge it and keep the dream alive for one more week.
Prediction: 2-1
Luke Davies (Swans Cast): Swansea City have won five games on the bounce for the first time in over fifteen years, a crazy achievement for Alan Sheehan to celebrate in his time as caretaker boss at Swansea, with four clean sheets within that run as well. This impressive run has come at a time where Swansea don't really have anything to play for in the league, with safety confirmed and Play Offs all but impossible. That is not the case for their next opponents however, Millwall, who really need to win this match to keep their own Premier League ambitions alive going into the final game of the season.
Swansea (11th) travel away to Millwall (8th) sitting three points behind them in the league, with a six win in a row meaning they will sit on the same points, with very similar goal difference. Millwall however find themselves three points off the Play-Off places, knowing failure to secure a win against The Swans could mean any chance of sneaking into the top six passes by, depending on other results. So interestingly, considering Millwall have still got something to play for over The Swans, The Swans could see themselves ahead of Millwall in the table after this match with a positive result, winning by at least two goals. The Championship is a crazy league!
Having said all of that, I do think Millwall will be a very tough game for the Swans, it is after all a must win game for them, at home. They have had one of the better defences in the league this season, and have kind of placed themselves into the Play-Off picture without anyone really talking about it. Their form is also very good, not quite the five wins in five of The Swans, but they have won four of them with an off day coming as they lost to Blackburn in that run.
I predict a tight affair here with a draw being a likely result.
Prediction: 1-1
