PREVIEW | Plymouth Argyle vs Leeds United - team news, lineups, predictions

Plymouth Argyle and Leeds United clash this Saturday at Home Park in Matchweek 46 of the EFL Championship. The match will be broadcast live at 12:30 on Sky Sports +.

The Pilgrims have battled gallantly in recent weeks, but sit in 23rd position on 46 points. In their last game, Miron Muslic's team won 1-2 against Preston North End to keep their season alive, but a woeful goal difference coupled with other teams finding form mean that Plymouth need to dole out a whooping for the ages against Leeds...and hope results go their way!

Already promoted Leeds have 97 points to their name this season and sit top of the table at present. Daniel Farke's team won 4-0 against Bristol City in their last game and will be hoping to reach a century of points to seize the title.

The last meeting between the two teams ended with Leeds winning 3-0.

      The Fan Zone

Tom SleemanMiraculously Plymouth Argyle head into their final game of the Championship season against Leeds United without still having been officially relegated after a dismal season.

Unfortunately for Miron Muslic's side they will require a 14 goal swing to go in their favour as well as defeats for fellow relegation candidates Hull and Luton if they are to retain their league status in comical fashion.

Leeds have their own agenda, with Daniel Farke's side requiring victory in order to confirm themselves as champions so any hopes of a few hangovers after they confirmed promotion to the Premier League last weekend look doubtful.

You would expect the Yorkshire side to have too much quality to be denied all three points, but the Pilgrims will be keen to exit the Championship with a bang. Only Burnley in the top-half of the division this season have managed to beat them at Home Park.

      Prediction: 1-3

Sam (AllDayLUFC): 6-0 and 4-0 in back to back games. Plymouth will be a different challenge but Leeds have their sights on the title win now.

Fans are also hoping we can avoid conceding to set a defensive best, as well as secretly hoping for a 7-0 win to break the 100 goal mark.

Plymouth need a result and a big one at that if they are to avoid relegation. They caused an upset to Sheffield United previously so we will need to be wary of their spirit and recent form.

Leeds should still have more than enough to deal with them, though.

      Prediction: 1-3
