Next season may be Pep Guardiola's last at Manchester City with the manager not expected to stay at the club.

Journalist Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail has stated that the club are beginning to prepare for the wildly successful manager's departure.

Although Gaughan emphasises that the manager has not made a formal decision on whether he will leave it is increasingly expected.

Guardiola has been at the Etihad Stadium for eight seasons with his side dominating English football and winning a trophy, albeit with 115 charges against the club still unresolved.

Any new Manchester City manager will have big shoes to fill with Michel, currently the manager of City Group's Girona apparently a potential candidate as well as current Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann.

As a football fan, I'm sad to hear that next season may be Pep Guardiola's last at Manchester City. His success at the club has been undeniable and it will be tough for whoever takes over. I hope he stays, but if not, I trust the club will make a wise choice for his replacement.

Wow, this is huge news! It's hard to imagine Manchester City without Pep Guardiola. Will definitely miss him if he leaves next season.

As a football fan, this is so disappointing. Pep has been an incredible manager for Manchester City and has brought so much success to the club. It will be hard to find a replacement who can continue his legacy. However, with the ongoing issues surrounding the club, it's not surprising that he may choose to leave. Whoever takes over will have huge pressure on them.
