Iceland defeated Turkey, 2x0, on Sunday, in a match relating to the Grp.I of World Cup Qualifiers (UEFA). In the starting XI there was Ragnar Sigurdsson, Birkir Bjarnason, Jón Gudmundsson and Jón Bodvarsson.
In an unfortunate moment Omer Toprak scored an own goal after 41 minutes. Alfred Finnbogason netted the last goal shortly before the interval with a right-foot strike inside the penalty box.
After 62 minutes, Jón Bodvarsson was subbed. In the final minutes of the game, Hordur Magnússon came on.
