América beat Cruz Azul and win the México Apertura

América defeated Cruz Azul, 0x2, on Monday, in a match relating to the Final of México Apertura. Edson Álvarez made a tremendous game.

The first half came to an end without goals.

The first goal of the game was scored by Edson Álvarez, after 51 minutes.  in the closing stages of the game, Cruz Azul saw Gerardo Flores leave the game early with a direct red card. Edson Álvarez netted the last goal in the final minutes of the game.

With this result, América win the México Apertura.
