Varzim triumphed over Anadia FC, 2x1, on Tuesday, in a match relating to the Last 16 of Taça de Portugal.
The first-half ended with a goalless draw.
The opening goal was scored by Leonardo Ruiz in the 76th minute, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box. Deep into added time, Nádson struck for Anadia FC, assisted by Diogo Pereira.
Baba Sow netted the last goal in the final minutes of the game through a header inside the penalty area.
With this result, Varzim are through to the next round of the competition. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Paulo Alves's team visit FC Porto.
