Alavés defeated by Sevilla

Sevilla beat Alavés, 1x2, on Tuesday, on matchday 19. To this Matchday, Vitoria's team came from two defeats, and Sevilla's team came from a defeat.

The first goal was scored by Youssef En-Nesyri in the 3rd minute, with a right-foot shot. With 12 minutes on the clock, Edgar Méndez struck for Alavés, assisted by Ximo Navarro.  Suso netted the last goal after 30 minutes with a left-foot shot from outside the box.

In time added on, Joselu could have scored for Vitoria's team, but Yassine Bono has brilliantly saved the penalty.

After the result Sevilla is 4th in the table, 36 points, while Alavés occupy 17th place, 18 points. In the next fixture, Sevilla's team will host Cádiz. Meanwhile, Vitoria's team will play at home against Real Madrid.
