U23 Premier League: Southampton defeated by Chelsea

Chelsea triumphed over Southampton in a win on Monday, 3x1, on matchday 15. Before this Matchday, blues came from two draws, and Southampton's team came from four defeats.

The first-half ended without any goals.

After 51 minutes, Southampton saw Kayne Ramsey get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. The opening goal was scored by Kazeem Olaigbe after 54 minutes. With 61 minutes on the clock, Tino Anjorin struck for Chelsea, assisted by Silko Thomas. Sub Xavier Mbuyamba, in the 66th minute, changed the course of the game. After 68 minutes, Silko Thomas strucked the second goal for London's team, laid on by Marcel Lewis.  Xavier Mbuyamba netted the last goal after 71 minutes.

After the result Chelsea is 1st in the table, 29 points, while Southampton occupy 12th place, 12 points. With regard to the next fixture, London's team visit Tottenham. Meanwhile, Southampton's team will play away against Leicester City.
