FC Köln defeated RB Leipzig by 2x1

FC Köln beat RB Leipzig, 2x1, on Tuesday, in game related to round 30. Before this Matchday, Köln's team came from three defeats, and Leipzig's team came from a draw. Jonas Hector was the man of the match.

The first half came to an end without goals.

 Jonas Hector opened the score after the break, through a header inside the box. After 59 minutes, Amadou Haidara struck for RB Leipzig, with a right-foot strike from outside the box, after a pass from Marcel Halstenberg.  Jonas Hector netted the last goal in the 60th minute with a left-foot strike inside the penalty area.

After the result RB Leipzig is 2nd in the table, 61 points, while FC Köln occupy 17th place, 26 points. With regard to their next fixture, Köln's team visit FC Augsburg. Meanwhile, Leipzig's team will host Stuttgart.
