Premier League International Cup: Liverpool lose out to Monaco B

Monaco B defeated Liverpool, 1x2, on Wednesday, in a match relating to the Grp.C of the Premier League International Cup. Both Barry Lewtas's team and Damien Perrinelle's team held their first game in the competition.

Shortly before the interval, Lucas Michal opened the scoring for Monaco B.

After 50 minutes, Enzo Baglieri scored the second goal for Damien Perrinelle's team. Jayden Danns netted the last goal in the 82nd minute. In the final minutes of the game, Liverpool saw Lucas Pitt get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. In the final minutes of the game, Jules Bery had a golden opportunity on his feet to score but missed a penalty.

In relation to forthcoming league matches, Monaco B visit Crystal Palace, whilst Liverpool will play at home against Benfica B.
