Cheltenham Town defeated by Port Vale

Port Vale triumphed over Cheltenham Town, 2x1, on Tuesday, in game related to round 9. To this Matchday, John Askey's team came from a win, and Michael Duff's team came from a draw.

The first-half ended with a goalless draw.

 Andy Williams opened the score after the break. With 52 minutes on the clock, Leon Legge struck for Port Vale, from a corner, assisted by David Worrall.  David Worrall netted the last goal with 68 minutes on the clock with a right-foot strike from outside the box.

After the result Cheltenham Town is 6th in the table, 16 points, while Port Vale occupy 8th place, 16 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, John Askey's team visit Southend United. Meanwhile, Michael Duff's team will host Forest Green Rovers.
