Levante defeated by Villarreal

Villarreal defeated Levante, 1x5, on Sunday, in game related to round 33. To this Matchday, Valencia's team came from a win, and Villarreal's team came from a defeat. Samuel Chukwueze runned the show.

The luckless Sergio Postigo scored an own goal after 9 minutes. In the 13th minute, Gerard Moreno strucked the second goal for Villarreal, with a left-foot shot, laid on by Dani Parejo. After 21 minutes, Mickaël Malsa struck for Levante, with a right-foot shot.

With 63 minutes on the clock, Samuel Chukwueze struck for Villarreal's team, with a left-foot shot inside the box, with Paco Alcácer making the assist. In a very unlucky moment, Rúben Vezo scored an own-goal in the 72nd minute.  Samuel Chukwueze netted the last goal after 75 minutes with a left-foot strike from outside the box.

After the result Villarreal is 7th in the table, 49 points, while Levante occupy 12th place, 38 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Unai Emery's team will play away against Alavés, while Paco López's team will host Sevilla.
