Real Sociedad defeat Celta de Vigo at home

Real Sociedad beat Celta de Vigo, 2x1, on Thursday, on matchday 31. Before this Matchday, San Sebastián's team came from a defeat, and Vigo's team came from a draw.

 Hugo Mallo opened the score in the 22nd minute, through a header inside the penalty area. With 25 minutes on the clock, Cristián Portu struck for Real Sociedad, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area, laid on by Carlos Fernández. Iván Villar kept his goal safe by saving the penalty after 29 minutes, taken by Alexander Isak.   Adnan Januzaj netted the last goal with 39 minutes on the clock from the penalty spot.

After the result Real Sociedad is 5th in the table, 50 points, while Celta de Vigo occupy 12th place, 37 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Imanol Alguacil's team will play away against Eibar. Meanwhile, Eduardo Coudet's team will play at home against Osasuna.
