Walsall beat Oldham Athletic

Walsall defeated Oldham Athletic in a win on Tuesday, 1x3, in the 13th round. Before this Matchday, Keith Curle's team came from a win, and Matt Taylor's team came from a draw.

In the 33rd minute, Jack Earing opened the scoring for Walsall, with a right-foot shot from outside the box, laid on by Conor Wilkinson. After 43 minutes, George Miller strucked the second goal for Matt Taylor's team, with a left-foot shot. With this goal, George Miller recorded his five this season.

After 67 minutes, Hallam Hope struck for Oldham Athletic, from a corner, assisted by Jamie Bowden.  Emmanuel Osadebe netted the last goal with 85 minutes on the clock with a left-foot shot inside the box.

After the result Walsall is 16th in the table, 16 points, while Oldham Athletic occupy 21st place, 11 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Walsall's team will host Barrow AFC, while Oldham's team visit Carlisle United.
