Atalanta beat Sampdoria, 1x3, on Wednesday, relating to matchweek 10 of the Serie A. To this matchweek, Roberto D´Aversa's team came from a win, and Tullio Gritti's team came from a draw.
With 10 minutes on the clock, Francesco Caputo opened the scoring for Sampdoria, with a left-foot strike, after a pass from Morten Thorsby. In an unlucky moment Kristoffer Askildsen scored an own goal after 17 minutes. After 21 minutes, Duván Zapata fired home Atalanta second goal, through a header inside the box, created by Davide Zappacosta.
