Kosovo beat Cyprus, 5x1, on Tuesday, on matchday 6. To this matchweek, Alain Giresse's team came from two defeats, and Temuri Ketsbaia's team came from a win. Vedat Muriqi runned the show.
The first goal was scored by Florent Muslija with 22 minutes on the clock. Shortly before the interval, Donat Rrudhani struck the second goal for Kosovo, laid on by Vedat Muriqi.
After the break, Alain Giresse's team increased their lead with a goal from Elbasan Rashani. In the 52nd minute, Kosovo's national team extended their lead with a goal from Vedat Muriqi. After 81 minutes, Valentin Roberge fired home for Cyprus, assisted by Fotios Papoulis. Vedat Muriqi netted the last goal in the 84th minute.
After the result Kosovo are 2nd in the table, with 9 points, while Cyprus sit 3rd place, with 5 points.
