Manchester United have named Harry Maguire as their new captain only five months after the centre-half moved to Old Trafford from Leicester City.
The England defender will succeed Ashley Young as the Red Devils' skipper - Young reportedly on the verge of sealing a move to Inter Milan.
Since completing his record-breaking £80m move from the King Power Stadium in August, Maguire has played 29 games for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's United - who face league leaders and rivals Liverpool in a mouthwatering Premier League clash this Sunday.
"Everything about him tells me is a leader," said United boss Solskjaer.
"Harry will keep wearing the armband now."
In Young's absence this season, Marcus Rashford, David de Gea and Jesse Lingard have also worn the armband for the Manchester side this season.
“The last two performances we've had against Liverpool, we've drawn twice and been closest to winning both of those games,” says Ole.
