Defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out of England's Euro 2020 campaign with a thigh injury.
The Liverpool right-back took a knock in the latter part of Wednesday's 1-0 friendly win over Austria and a subsequent scan has confirmed a tear in his quadricep muscle.
The 22-year-old is likely to be out for between one and two months and will return to Liverpool for treatment.
Manager Gareth Southgate will not name a replacement until after the Three Lions' final warm-up game against Romania on Sunday.
England kick off Euro 2020 on Sunday 13 June against Croatia, the team that vanquished them from the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.
