England ended their preparation friendlies for the Euros with a 1-0 win over Romania at the Riverside Stadium.
The Three Lions dominated the first-half and hit the crossbar twice: once through Dominic Calvert-Lewin, a header from James Ward-Prowse's set piece, and again through Jadon Sancho's curling effort from the edge of the area.
In the second-half, Gareth Southgate's men took the lead after Jack Grealish was fouled in the box and from the spot, captain for the day Marcus Rashford converted on 68 minutes.
England soon had the chance to double their lead when Calvert-Lewin was fouled in the box for another penalty. However, substitute Jordan Henderson - who was returning from injury - saw his strike saved by Romanian keeper Florin Nita.
The game marked Gareth Southgate's last chance to take notes and put his side through their paces prior to England's Euro 2020 opener against Croatia next Sunday.
