Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen to bring Jamaica international Leon Bailey to England, with a reported £30 million.
The move now appears to be on the verge of being completed, with only a medical needed before the deal is made official.
A statement on Villa's official website reads: "Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement for the transfer of Leon Bailey subject to the player completing a medical and finalising personal terms."
After hitting 39 goals in 156 appearances in the Bundesliga, Bailey finally gets to the Premier League after being linked so many times with different clubs for the last three seasons.
With the addition of Emiliano Buendía transfer back in June, the recruitment of Leon Bailey may add fuel on the fire regarding reports that Jack Grealish could be on his way to Manchester City.
Leon Bailey is a star! 💫
