Crystal Palace have signed French forward Odsonne Edouard from Celtic - who becomes the Eagles’ seventh summer signing under Patrick Vieira.
After months of speculation about a move away from Celtic Park, the Frenchman has joined Palace on a four-year deal, with the fee believed to be in the region of £14m, according to reports.
The 23-year-old striker first arrived at Celtic on loan from PSG in August 2017, before the Hoops secured his services on a permanent basis later in that season.
Edouard starred in Scotland helping the club win three Scottish Premiership titles, two Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups, along with personal honours such as the SFWA Footballer of the Year in 19/20.
In his time at Celtic, the French forward scored 88 goals in 176 appearances.
Speaking with Palace TV, Edouard said: “I’m very happy to be here today. I can’t [wait] start to train with the team and to play for this club… Scoring goals in the Premier League may be the biggest challenge in my career. But I’m confident in myself and my teammates to be successful.”
An incredible talent. An iconic chant.
