Nottingham Forest have sacked their manager Chris Hughton after less than a year in charge with the club sitting bottom of the Championship.
Last night's disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to Middlesbrough was their sixth in seven league games and proved to be the final straw - Forest with one just point to their name after their worst start to a season in 108 years
Appointed in October 2020, when Forest were also bottom of the league, Hughton guided the club to safety - the Nottingham club eventually finishing last season nine points above the relegation zone.
In total, Hughton took charge of 53 games for Forest, recording 14 wins, 17 draws and 22 defeats.
