Tottenham earned a dramatic late 2-2 draw against Chelsea in a very heated encounter at Stamford Bridge.

Action: Chelsea imposed their game since the start and dominated Antonio Conte's men.

The Blues, deservedly, took the lead in the 19th minute with the help of two summer signings. Marc Cucurella's fantastic corner was superbly volleyed home by Kalidou Koulibaly.

The hosts kept dominating and Raheem Sterling nearly doubled Chelsea's lead on the hour mark, but fired over the bar.

Midway through the second half, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg drew Spurs level with a low effort from outside the box into the bottom corner.

Controversy started here, after sparking confrontation between Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel on the touchline over an earlier foul following the goal - both managers received bookings.

Chelsea retook the lead with 13 minutes remaining, through Reece James, with Sterling feeding the wing-back, who fired past Hugo Lloris.

On the celebrations, Thomas Tuchel was running down the touchline and past Conte to celebrate what he thought was his side's winner.

However, in the last minute of stoppage time, Kane headed in Ivan Perisic's corner and nicked a point for Spurs.

After the final whistle, Tuchel and Conte squared up again, and were both shown the red card.

Big Picture: A great London derby that confirms, Chelsea and Tottenham are two big title contenders for this season.

When Spurs were almost dead, they came back to life out of nowhere. And that's what big teams do. They probably haven't got the best squad, but they sure have an elite manager at the helm, with a winning mentaly which can catalyse everyone at the club.

Both teams now have four points after two Premier League games.

Next up, Chelsea will travel to Leeds United on Sunday, while Tottenham will host Wolves on Saturday at 12.30pm.

      xG: Chelsea (1.87) 2-2 (1.57) Tottenham

Stat of the Day: Harry Kane has scored 184 Premier League goals for Tottenham Hotspur, the joint-most a player has scored for a single club in Premier League history (Sergio Agüero also scored 184 for Man City).
