Plymouth Argyle are top of League One after coming from 1-0 down at half-time to an important 2-1 win over Ipswich Town, ending Ipswich's nine-game unbeaten start to the 2022/23 season.
The Blues took the lead six minutes before half-time through former Argyle striker Freddie Ladapo, whose shot deflected off Dan Scarr and looped over Mike Cooper.
Steven Schumacher's men levelled terms midway through the second half, when Bali Mumba fired a shot from 20 yards out into the corner of the net, giving no chance to Christian Walton.
Just six minutes later, the Greens completed the comeback through Morgan Whittaker, after a superb left-foot shot into the top corner, which proved to be the winner.
The Blues came close for a late equaliser through their keeper Christian Walton, who went up for a corner in stoppage-time and headed against the crossbar at the very death
With this result Plymouth move to the top of the League One table and maintain their 100% league record at Home Park, while Ipswich drop to second, a point away from the new leaders.
Next up, Argyle travels to Adams Park to face Wycombe, while Ipswich host Portsmouth in another mouth-watering clash at Portman Road.
Ending the weekend with new leaders and just one unbeaten record remaining...
