Tottenham Hotspur have climbed to the fourth spot in the Premier League standings following a comeback 3-2 win over Brentford in North London.
Tottenham created opportunities against Brentford early in the game, particularly with Oliver Skipp releasing Dejan Kulusevski, but Mathias Jensen's well-timed recovery challenge thwarted Kulusevski's attempt.
A similar situation occurred when Neal Maupay sent Keane Lewis-Potter forward, but Skipp intercepted the ball inside the box.
In the 12th minute, Mads Roerslev thought he scored, but an earlier offside against Jensen nullified the goal.
But, just three minutes later, the Bees then took the lead, with Neal Maupay bundling in after Ivan Toney’s shot was saved.
Tottenham sought an immediate response. Timo Werner's low shot was saved by Mark Flekken, and from the ensuing corner, Werner's unmarked header missed the target.
Richarlison's long-range attempt narrowly missed, and Brentford disrupted Spurs with delayed set pieces toward the end of the first half.
Spurs thought they equalised when Richarlison scored, but the goal was disallowed due to a foul on Nathan Collins.
At half-time, Spurs made tactical changes, bringing in Brennan Johnson and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The adjustments proved effective as Udogie levelled three minutes into the second half with a second attempt after a block by Ethan Pinnock.
The hosts swiftly completed the comeback within a minute, as substitute Johnson converted a low cross from Werner at the far post.
A third goal came seven minutes later, as James Maddison's blocked shot fell to Richarlison, who calmly finished.
Toney nearly brought the score to 3-2 just after the hour mark, unleashing a powerful shot towards the far corner, but his attempt narrowly missed the post.
However, Toney persisted and found the back of the net in the 67th minute as capitalised on another error from Udogie, who mistakenly played the ball directly to the Englishman while attempting to pass it to his goalkeeper.
The visitors had seven minutes of stoppage time to equalise but fell short. Despite a late attempt from Dasilva's cross, denied by Vicario's save, Tottenham secured the three points.
With this result, Ange Postecoglou's team have moved above Aston Villa into fourth, while Thomas Frank's men missed the chance to climb to 12th.
