Two second-half goals from Jason Cummings completed a shock Shrewsbury comeback from 2-0 down against Liverpool to earn the League One side a replay at Anfield away to the run away Premier League leaders.
An early strike from Scouse prospect Curtis Jones for his second goal in as many starts looked set to send Liverpool on their way to the third easy win of the day for a Premier League side.
And things looked even more secure at the start of the second-half, when Donald Love bizarrely turned a cross into his own net under zero pressure to double Liverpool’s lead.
However, 20 minutes into the second-half Shrewsbury began growing into the game with Joshua Laurent running the show before being taken down on the edge of the area by Liverpool youngster Yasser Larouci.
Football League fan-favourite Jason Cummings calmly dispatched the resulting penalty just five minutes after coming on, and then with 15 minutes to play capitalised on an embarrassing defensive mix up by the European Champions to secure a glamour replay at Anfield.

There was some controversy after the final whistle though, as Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said that neither he nor his first team players will take part in the replay scheduled for the second week of February.
The ties are set to take place during the Premier League's newly formed winter break, and Klopp, who has been a consistent critic of the huge number of games in England, will not allow fixture congestion to infringe on his side's rehabilitation period.
Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that he and his first team will not be involved in the FA Cup replay with Shrewsbury, stating that they will "respect the winter break" organised by the Premier League. Neil Critchley will take charge of the team.
