Everton are reportedly finalising a deal for Sporting Lisbon striker Youssef Chermiti.
The teenage Portugal youth international enjoyed a breakthrough season at Sporting last term and netted three goals for The Lions across all competitions.
The fee is reportedly set to be in the region of €15m with Sporting earning 10% of any future transfer.
Toffees' manager Sean Dyche said last Saturday that the club were "working hard" to get new signings in the door at Goodison Park to join new arrivals Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma.
Everton are believed to have beaten off interest from both Wolves and Bournemouth to capture 19-year-old Chermiti's signature.
