Leeds got past Hull City at Elland Road leaving them 11 points clear in the automatic promotion places, while Preston ended their run of four defeats with a win over Fulham, moving back into the top six.

      Unbreakable Leeds

Marcelo Bielsa's men keep their amazing form going as they win their seventh consecutive match against Hull City. Two goals in the last 20 minutes featuring an own goal by Jordy de Wijs from a Helder Costa cross, and a Ezgjan Alioski secured the win for Leeds inside the last 10 minutes. The Whites will spend the night at the top of Championship before West Brom play tomorrow.

      Preston end their poor run

The hosts had a great start of the game with Sean Maguire giving them the lead and a few moments later, the Cottagers were with one man down after Denis Odoi got sent off, making their job even harder, until the sides were evened when Joe Rafferty saw red for a bad tackle. After break, Preston doubled their lead thanks to David Nugent, while Aleksandar Mitrovic pulled a goal back for Fulham with a fantastic long-range strike. Fulham are now 10 points behind the top two, whilst Preston moved back into the top six.

Nottingham Forest stay winless, Bristol City lose after two great results.

Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough shared the spoils at the City Ground in a 1-1 draw. Forest dominated the game for long periods and went ahead on the 63rd minute, after a Matty Cash's cross was finished by Ryan Yates. Boro levelled from the penalty spot through Paddy McNair and rescued for an improving side who have only one defeat in six games and are four points above relegation zone.

Bristol City lost at home against Millwall and ended some excellent recent form. One goal in each half scored by Jed Wallace and Jake Cooper gave Millwall the victory as Gary Rowett continues to show he's got what it takes to succeed at The Den. A late goal from Callum O'Dowda offered some hope for the hosts but it was not enough.

Stoke City eased past Luton after a 3-0 win at home, two goals from Joe Allen and one from James McClean allowed the hosts to take all three points in an important win for the Potters who need to escape the relegation zone, while the Hatters are now only three points clear themselves.

And finally, a late goal by youngster Matty Daly gave Huddersfield an important victory over Charlton at The Valley. The Terriers are four points clear of the relegation zone as Charlton stay 17th.
