Chelsea and Manchester United shared the spoils after a stalemate at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Action: Both teams approached the contest cagily, seemingly more concerned with dropping points than winning them.
The main talking point came in the first-half when Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi handled in the Blues' box. The ball bounced off Hudson-Odoi's hand as he tussled with Mason Greenwood but, after a VAR review, Stuart Attwell decided against awarding a penalty.
In the second-half, both keepers were called into action. David de Gea made a fine save from Hakim Ziyech while Edouard Mendy had to react well to deny Scott McTominay. Fred also went close for the visitors with a long-range effort.
Both sides took a point apiece and can have little argument with the result.
The Big Picture: Unbeaten in nine games under Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea missed the chance to leapfrog West Ham into fourth, but closed the gap to the Hammers to a single point.
The Blues face a tough couple of fixtures against both Merseyside clubs now: their trip to Anfield on Thursday followed by a home game against Everton as Carlo Ancelotti returns to Stamford Bridge.
United stay in second, 12 points behind Man City, with a trip to the Etihad Stadium looming next Sunday. Prior to the big derby clash they take a midweek trip to Crystal Palace.
Memorable Moment: David de Gea's save at the start of the second-half was a blinder - the Spaniard's stop from Ziyech a worthy highlight.
Man of the Match: N'Golo Kante. The hard-working midfielder probably didn't touch the ball much, but the way he shackled Bruno Fernandes for the whole 90 minutes was impressive.
Fernandes is United's key player and Tuchel's special instructions to Kante paid dividends, as the French international kept his Portuguese counterpart very quiet.
Stat of the Day: This was Manchester United's fifth 0-0 against 'big six' opposition from seven fixtures this season.
Not the result we were looking for, but today's draw makes it 2️⃣0️⃣ #PL away games unbeaten for the Reds.
