Filip Helander scored the winner as Rangers edged past their rivals Celtic with a 1-0 win at the Ibrox Stadium in the first Old Firm derby of the season.

The hosts held on to the their one-goal advantage in a game where several players, and Gers manager Steven Gerrard, were absent after a Covid outbreak.
With this win, Rangers stretched their unbeaten Old Firm run to seven games and the reigning champions now sit a point behind Edinburgh sides Hibernian and Hearts at the top of the table.
