Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has paid tribute to the outgoing Sadio Mané - after Liverpool agreed to sell the forward to Bayern Munich for a deal worth up to £35m.
Carragher called Mané "low maintenance, high performance" on his personal Twitter account stating that the 30-year-old forward was his favourite Liverpool player of this era.
My favourite @LFC player of this era, Sadio Mane finally departs 😢 low maintenance high performance & never injured! Trophies & goals galore, a true Liverpool Legend. Thank you Sadio ❤️ https://t.co/X2XrPGEFaX

Bayern will reportedly pay an initial £27.5m for Mané - with a further £5m dependent on appearances. On top of that, the Bundesliga champions will pay another £2.5m based on individual and team achievements.
The deal will mean that Liverpool - who paid Southampton £31m plus 2.5m in add-ons for the player in 2016 - will recoup their money on the Senegal international.
