Sheffield Utd fight back to reach FA Cup semi-finals

Sheffield United have booked a place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup after a 3-2 victory over Blackburn Rovers at Bramall Lane.

Blackburn took the lead in the 21st minute when they were awarded a penalty for Jack Robinson's handball after a VAR check. 

From the penalty spot, Ben Brereton Diaz made no mistake with a strike into the bottom corner.

But the lead didn't last long as the Blades levelled eight minutes later after Max Lowe fired a shot from range and took a deflection off Sam Gallagher's knee to nestle in the corner of the net.

Sammie Szmodics put the visitors back in front on the hour mark with a lovely finish into the bottom corner.

The hosts were level 10 minutes later, with Oli McBurnie finding the bottom corner past Aynsley Pears after smart work from Lowe.

As the game looked to be heading for extra-time, Tommy Doyle fired an effort from 25 yards out in the first minute of injury time that found the top corner and sealed the win and a spot at Wembley for the Blades.
