Luton Town strengthened their play-off position after coming from behind to defeat Blackpool at Kenilworth Road.
The Tangerines have had all sorts of off-problems this season with Mick McCarthy leaving his post on Saturday meaning that former Blackpool player Stephen Dobbie was in charge for this game.
Despite those troubles, it was the visitors who took the lead when Lewis Fiorini’s free-kick was headed in by Andy Lyons with just under half an hour gone.
Rod Edwards’ team equalised just before the break through Pelly Ruddock who was set up by Carlton Morris.
Morris went from provider to scorer in the 72nd minute to put Luton ahead when he finished from close range.
Ruddock sealed the win minutes later that sees Luton keep third place and go four points ahead of Middlesbrough who face Bristol City this evening.
Luton are now on a nine-game undefeated streak and with just five games left to play are edging closer to guaranteeing a place in the play-offs.
For struggling Blackpool, it’s hard to see them digging themselves out of this hole with the drop to League One on the horizon.
