Aston Villa’s exciting young forward Cameron Archer is reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ to join Championship Middlesbrough on a loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has only 43 minutes of Premier League football under his belt this season and has only featured once under the Villans' new manager Unai Emery since the Spaniard took the reins last November.
According to TEAMtalk, Boro are the favourites to get a loan deal over the line for Archer, who scored seven Championship goals during a stint at Preston last season and was awarded a five-year contract at Villa in the summer.
The prolific young striker has four goals in four appearances for England's Under-21s, but has found game time hard to come by this season at Villa Park.
