Independiente Medellín overcame FBC Melgar, 1x2, on Thursday, in a match relating to the Grp.1 of the Copa Libertadores.
The first half came to an end without goals.
The opening goal was scored by Emanuel Herrera after 70 minutes. After 73 minutes, Marlon Piedrahita fired home for Independiente Medellín, assisted by Christian Marrugo. Juan Quintero netted the last goal with 75 minutes on the clock.
In the next fixture, Independiente Medellín will play at home against Emelec. Meanwhile, FBC Melgar will host River Plate.
