The opening goal was scored by Ahmed Kano in the 20th minute, from a direct free kick. With 41 minutes on the clock, Altymurad Annadurdiyev struck for Turquemenistão, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area.
After 84 minutes, Mohsin Al Ghassani scored the second goal for Omã, with a right-foot shot, laid on by Ahmed Kano. In stoppage time, Mohammed Al Musalami scored the last goal of the match, through a header, after an assist provided by Salah Al Yahyai.
