Apollon Smyrnis defeated by Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos edged out Apollon Smyrnis, 1x3, on Monday, on matchweek 26. In this competition, both teams came from a defeat.

The opening goal was scored by Ilias Chatzitheodoridis with 19 minutes on the clock.

In the 49th minute, Anargyros Kampetsis struck the second goal for Panathinaikos, assisted by Dimitrios Kourbelis.  after 54 minutes, Apollon Smyrnis saw Thomás get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. With 74 minutes on the clock, Nikolaos Vafeas fired home for Babis Tennes's team, laid on by Christian D´Urso. With 79 minutes on the clock, Federico Macheda wrapped things up.
