Watford beat Blackburn Rovers

Watford defeated Blackburn Rovers, 3x1, on Wednesday, in game related to round 6. Before this Matchday, Vladimir Ivić's team came from a win, and Tony Mowbray's team came from a defeat.

After 13 minutes, João Pedro opened the scoring for Watford, with a left-foot strike, laid on by Kiko Femenía. With 17 minutes on the clock, Tom Cleverley fired home Vladimir Ivić's team's second goal, through a header inside the penalty area. In the 28th minute, Ben Brereton struck for Blackburn Rovers, with a right-foot strike from outside the box, after a pass from Adam Armstrong.

In a very unlucky moment, Darragh Lenihan scored an own-goal after the break. After 69 minutes, Adam Armstrong advanced to the penalty, but Ben Foster defended.
