Bayer Leverkusen defeated by Atalanta

Atalanta defeated Bayer Leverkusen, 3x2, on Thursday, in a match relating to the Last 16 of Europa League. In this competition, Bergamo's team came from two wins, and Leverkusen's team played their first game in the competition. Luis Muriel made a tremendous game.

The first goal was scored by Charles Aránguiz with 11 minutes on the clock, with a right-foot shot. After 23 minutes, Ruslan Malinovskyi struck for Atalanta, with a left-foot strike, with Luis Muriel making the assist. In the 25th minute, Luis Muriel fired home Gian Piero Gasperini's team's second goal, with a left-foot shot inside the penalty area, laid on by Ruslan Malinovskyi.

With 49 minutes on the clock, Luis Muriel struck for Bergamo's team, with a right-foot shot inside the box, assisted by Ruslan Malinovskyi.  Moussa Diaby netted the last goal after 63 minutes with a left-foot shot from outside the box.
